Trump halts interview to demand ‘proof’ that Biden wants to eliminate police, which does not exist

In the first clip of ‘Fox News Sunday’ presenter Chris Wallace’s meeting with President Trump, the president furiously stops the interview to show proof that Joe Biden wants to ‘shell out’ the police, which he does not the democrat.

Wallace scoffed at the Fox News Channel interview on Friday afternoon, saying Trump had his staff go for the highlights of the 110-page pact that Biden’s team and Senator Bernie Sanders’ team put together.

“And he went through it and found a lot of things that he was opposed to, that Biden had agreed to, but he couldn’t find any indication, because there is none, that Joe Biden has tried to eliminate and abolish the police,” Wallace said.

Chris Wallace anticipated his meeting with the president on Friday, saying the president’s demand for documentation led to a “very interesting exchange,” in part because Trump was unable to find evidence to back up his claim that Biden wanted to disburse and abolish police officers.

In the clip, Wallace asked Trump about the recent spike in shootings in Chicago and New York and asked for his explanation of what is happening.

“I explain it very simply by saying that they are cities run by Democrats, that they are run liberally. They are stupidly run,” the president said.

Wallace responded by noting that “Liberal Democrats have been running cities in this country for decades.”

“Wrong,” intervened the President.

Wallace again tried to get Trump to answer why the violence was particularly serious at this time.

“They mismanage them, it was always bad, but now it’s totally out of control and it’s really because they want to pay the police and Biden wants the police,” Trump said.

Wallace inserted a fact check that said, “Sir, you don’t.”

“He signed a letter with Bernie Sanders,” Trump said, referring to the comprehensive pact that was launched earlier this week.

Wallace again noted: “It says nothing about firing the police.”

‘Oh seriously? He says abolish, he says, ” Trump said, raising his hands, hitting his knees and then turning to someone off camera. ‘Let’s go! Get me the letter, please.

The clip is cut at the time, but on the Fox News Channel, Wallace said, “It led to a very interesting exchange, where he had his staff go out and get the best moments from that 100-page compact.”

In addition to mocking the interview, which will air in its entirety on Sunday, Wallace added, “but let me say that he takes some photos of Joe Biden that I’ve never heard before.”

Wallace also said the interview was warm, not speaking of the president’s temperament, but rather of the outside temperature.

“And if it looks like it was hot in that yard right outside the Oval Office over there, it was about 100 degrees, and he kept saying,” Who was the idea? “” Wallace said. “Well, of course, it was the president’s idea, but he said he wanted to see me sweat.”

The term ‘defund’ is never used in the 110-page document that was produced by members of the Biden and Sanders team.

Sanders was second in the Democratic nomination, and supported Biden in April.

In the surveillance section of the document, Democrats call for more police funding when it comes to officers’ health.

“And we will seek increased funding for the health and well-being of officers in police departments across the country, including personal security teams and mental health services,” the document says.

He also says: ‘Democrats also acknowledge that too often systematic cuts to public services have left police officers on the front line of responding to social challenges for which they have not been trained, from homelessness to mental health crises and the opioid epidemic. ‘

‘Abolish’ is used four times in the document, but it never belongs to the police.

Democrats twice said their goal was to abolish the death penalty, which was also on the party’s platform in 2016. In addition, the document said Democrats wanted to abolish exploitive prison work and life without parole for minors.
