“The Bob Woodward book will be a FAKE, as always, just like a lot of the others have been. But, believe it or not, lately I’ve been getting a lot of GREAT books!” Trump tweeted, complained that “everyone does fake books about Donald Trump and Republicans.”

Trump’s attack on the Washington Post reporter comes days after the first details of his forthcoming book on the president were released. The book, “Rage,” details “early decisions and operations on national security and Trump’s movements because of a global pandemic, economic disaster and racial unrest,” according to a description posted on Amazon.

“Rage,” which follows Woodward’s first book on Trump, “Fear: Trump in the White House,” will be released on Sept. 15.

The president regularly scolds authors of books who portray him in an unflattering light and earlier attacks Woodward over his first book on administration. But Trump had complimented the Watergate journalist in January and indicated that he had agreed to be interviewed for the new book.
