Trump campaign releasing Hunter Biden ad because Joe Biden accepts nomination: report

The Trump campaign is reportedly planning to release a new digital ad aimed at Hunter Biden on Thursday, the same day that his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, will accept the Democratic nomination.

The campaign ad, part of a seven-figure deal, will focus on Hunter Biden’s dealings with China while his father was vice president, suggesting he used his father’s position for personal gain, according to Politico.

The ad shows a reporter asking Hunter Biden as negotiations for a joint venture fund with a Chinese bank took place during a 2013 flight with the vice president for a trip from Beijing that she took together.

The ad will run on YouTube.

“In July 2019, the President asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a private phone call to investigate Hunter Biden’s involvement with Ukrainian oil company Burisma, and in the fall he told reporters that he thought China should investigate the Bids as well,” cause with China is just about as bad as what happened in Ukraine. “

Biden’s work with the Burisma came under scrutiny after Trump claimed that Joe Biden was not using his diplomatic influence in Ukraine properly to help his son.

Hunter Biden said in an interview last year that company never got on the Beijing flight and said he was on the trip because of his daughter, according to Politico.

The ad also portrays Joe Biden as broadly as pro-China, reports The Hill.

Trump’s Ukrainian phone call eventually led to his impeachment over abuse of power and obstruction of Congress costs. He was released in February.

No evidence of wrongdoing was found on the part of either Biden and both men deny the allegations. Hunter Biden has since placed duty to avoid business deals with foreign entities when his father becomes president.

The Senate has also investigated Hunter Biden’s involvement in Ukraine.

Trump’s own children have to contend with control over all use of their positions in the White House for personal business gain.

A spokeswoman for Ivanka Trump’s ethics lawyer said she applied for the trademarks in 2016 “to prevent others from stealing her name and using it to sell their products.”
