Rumors began circulating last Friday night that a promise was in the works, with three consecutive FutureCast picks coming in favor of the Wildcats over at Rivals.com, led by Corey Evans who flipped his prediction out of Kansas .
A new name for those who follow the recruitment of basketball in Kentucky, Hickman is a 6-2 point guard from Mt. Pleasant, Utah. The rankings vary wildly; he is the thirteenth-ranked point guard and No. 76 player overall according to Rivals, compared to 247 sports that Hickman ranks as the third best point guard and as no. 30-player overall.
A clever ball dealer, in his high school mid-season, Hickman averaged 17.3 points, 3.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 38 percent from behind the three-point line.
