Triple H says WWE found nothing in the Velveteen Dream investigation

Dream was away from NXT programming because of his car accident because he was hospitalized after the mishap. The Game also revealed that the WWE settled the charges against Velveteen Dream and they found nothing after the investigation.

Triple H reiterated that Velveteen Dream was out of action due to the accident and once he was medically discharged, the decision was made to get him back in the ring.

Here’s what Triple H has revealed about Velveteen Dream’s status:

“You know, on this day accusations are made and you take them all very seriously. You investigate them as best you can, and you find out what is there and what is not. In this situation, [Clark] was also involved in a car accident. That’s what took him from TV. At the moment all this other stuff is happening and you look into it and you find that there is a situation that is bringing people to everyone’s attention, you look into it and find that it is what it is and that r is nothing. Everything we have done, we are comfortable with him continuing to do what he does and everything else. But he had a car accident. It stems down that people thought we were removing him from TV for various reasons. We do not have that. He was in a car accident. Once he was medically discharged to be able to return to the ring of his car accident, we continued as we did. We saw what was there and we found nothing. “

There have been several rumors discussed regarding the status of Velveteen Dream in the WWE over the past few weeks, including that there was significant backstage heat on him. However, Dream is back on TV, and he will face Finn Balor in a second chance match to qualify one of the contestants for the ladder contest at NXT TakeOver: XXX.
