New York, New Jersey and Connecticut crossed a collective landmark on Sunday, reaching by several states (California and Texas) with only three states (second states) considering its ten million positive coronavirus case.
By one count from the coronavirus database of each state, a total of 1,003,719 positive test results have been found since the onset of the epidemic in all three states. New York and New Jersey reported 9,389 new cases on Sunday, bringing the total to more than 10 million for the first time.
The ultimate goal for the region is for state governors to bring back the measures measured to curb the spread, however, no recent sanctions have been so severe due to the springtime lockdown measures.
Government of New York. Andrew Cuomo has so far focused on his micro-cluster approach to targeting COVID hotspots in a given region. However, some action has been taken at the statewide level. For more than a week now, dining areas have been ordered closed in bars, restaurants and bowling alleys by 10 p.m. GM should also be closed at 10 p.m.

In its weekly radio segment on Friday, De Blasio said it expects the first week of December to be based on the latest numbers and estimates. Cuomo says it’s not a guarantee of a downturn by timeline, but will be triggered by the performance of the city’s positivity rate – which he believes will be heavily influenced by Thanksgiving activity.
“It depends entirely on what people do. I’m not going to guess and I don’t have a crystal ball, except be very careful.”
Cuomo sowed the seeds of a takeover for the first time Wednesday when it announced that if it hits the city-wide rate of 3 percent for seven days and stays 3 percent for 10 straight days, it will relocate the whole of New York City to the Micro Cluster Orange Zone. The state report of that metric is different from the city data.
“I find it confusing and unnecessary, but it is also irrelevant,” Kuomo said of various government reports from the state government. As of Friday, New York City has held 2.52 percent by state data – and has yet to reach the first day that will be 10 days of 3 days or more.
Under the Orange Zone rules, schools are moved remotely, which is now an important issue for public schools but it will affect private and charter schools, which are not subject to de Blasio’s closure. There is a “test out” option, although Kuomo said he would have to devise a new formula for NYC, given the proportion of students. Expect to return to personal education at some point is a key component.
The governor created new communities that could enter the microcluster designation or move into the orange or red classification.
“Staten Island is a serious problem,” Cuomo warned Sunday. If its statistics do not improve immediately, the borough will become a red zone. Long Island and parts of Upper Manhattan are on the verge of becoming a yellow zone, according to state data.
As of Sunday, the state’s positivity rate has reached 2.74 per cent. The number of hospitals across the state has increased to 2,562, according to the governor.

Going this weekend, Newark, New Jersey’s largest city, was asked to prepare for a 10-day stay-at-home advisory starting Nov. 25.
New York Mayor Ras Baraka said in a radio show on WBGO 88.3 FM’s Newark Today Friday, “We’re here before Wednesday, December 4, before Thanksgiving.” If you want to go, don’t go out. If you don’t want to, don’t mix with other people. Stay with your family in a house near you. “
Baraka’s office fee did not respond to a request for further details Friday, and it was not immediately clear how the 280,000 city would implement the new restrictions, specifically for the Thanksgiving holiday. A message was placed with the Newark Police Department.
Baraka recently imposed curfews in three areas of the city and imposed other restrictions on restaurants and nonsensational businesses in response to additional coronavirus cases reported in the city.
