Trevor Noah: Why was Jacob Blake shot, not Kyle Rittenhouse?

Trevor Noah has some questions – and answers – about the situation that is developing in Kenosha, Wis., After the shooting of Jacob Blake police.

On Wednesday’s episode of “The Daily Show”, Noah shared his thoughts on the protests that erupted after Blake, an unarmed Black man, was shot several times by police for his young children.

Shortly before “The Daily Show” aired, Kyle Rittenhouse, a white teenager armed with a semi-automatic rifle, was accused of killing two Protestants the night before.

“How come Jacob Blake was seen as a deadly threat to a theoretical gunman – that he might have and would try to commit a crime – but this gunman, who was armed and had already shot people, who had seen let him be a threat, was he arrested the next day, given a full due process of the law, and generally treated like a man whose life is at stake? ”Noah said.
