Travis d’Arnaud gets his start at DH against the Yankees tonight

The Braves sent Touki Toussaint to the mound against the Yankees this evening. The lineup has an interesting look that sees both Travis d’Arnaud and Tyler Flowers in the lineup. With lefty Jordan Montgomery on the mound, the Braves are charging up with right-handed clubs plus Freddie Freeman who is good against, well, everyone. Tyler Flowers gets the start at catcher and right-back bat d’Arnaud is one of the Braves hotter hitters of late, so he gets the nod. Acuna Jr. stays in center with Ender Inciarte who is extra unplayable against a lefty and Ozuna moves to, gulp, right field, while Adam Duvall comes to the left field this evening.

For the Yankees, the Braves are fortunately not available with Giancarlo Stanton because he is on the injured list with an injured hamster. Mike Ford gets the start this evening at DH and Clint Frazier, who seems to be following a cult if the reaction under Yankees Twitter is any indication, is not in the lineup. As always, the Yankees lineup is still loaded with tight bats led by one of the early AL MVP front runners Aaron Judge.
