Back in the 90s, Sadesh by Mahesh Bhatt was a super hit film and now the director has come up with a sequel like a movie on it. Titled Sadak2, the film describes the daughter of his second wife, Alia Bhatt, as the leading lady, while senior hero Sanjay Dutt who played the hero in the original played a crucial role.
Continuing with trailer, Sanjay Dutt appears as cab driver and Alia Bhatt as his passenger who is on a mission to destroy a fake guruji. The film features Aditya Roy Kapur as Alia’s friend. While the trailer in parts is intriguing and interesting, what makes the viewer happy are the issues out there.
While some gang netizens demand the ban of Alia Bhatt because she is close to Karan Johar and the gang of Nepotism, another gang of netizens is worried about Sanjay Dutt who was diagnosed with lung cancer the next day. Also hearing the name of Mahesh Bhatt as guruji from Rhea Chakraborthy, and Rhea with the music in Sushant’s death ensured that Sadak 2 trailer got all the attention.
All of these issues made many people watch the trailer and they also did not like it. Guit what, in the first few hours the trailer clocked half a million views, with almost 230K dislikes and just 30K likes. That explains the mood of audiences and maybe they will all watch the movie at least to criticize Alia Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt.
