Tracee Ellis Ross became emcee on the second night of the Democratic National Convention, and she was applauded by her Hollywood pals as fans.

Actress Liz Jenkins, who appeared on ‘black-ish’, tweeted her request for Ellis Ross, 47, simply: “I love Tracee Ellis Ross so much.”

Meanwhile, Yvette Nicole Brown praised Ellis Ross’ ensemble, wearing black pumps and a maroon Proenza Schouler dress.
“Host the second night of # DNC2020, but make it FASHION! We’ll see you @TraceeEllisRoss,” Brown said.
One fan tweeted: “@TraceeEllisRoss does a great job, leading us effectively through the evening. #DemConvention.”

Ahead of the Democratic National Convention, Ellis Ross’ famous mother, Diana Ross, expressed her excitement over her daughter’s emcee duties.
“I’m proud and excited that my daughter @TraceeEllisRoss will facilitate tonight’sDemocraticNational Conference 9pm EST / 6pm PST,” she tweeted on Tuesday.
In addition to Ellis Ross, actresses Kerry Washington and Julia Louis-Dreyfus will also star in Washington this week on Wednesday and Louis-Dreyfus on Thursday, according to Deadline. Actress Eva Longoria went out Monday night.
Many of the speeches during this week’s DNC have been pre-recorded because the coronavirus pandemic has shut down the traditional pump and circumstance of the major parties’ nominating convention and forced the parties to go digital in the midst of strict social distancing guidelines.
