The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office is in a hurry to escalate the shooting incident in which Megan Thee Stallion, who preceded the arrest of Tory Lanez, was charged for an armed charge last month.
According to a TMZ report on Wednesday night (Aug. 19), the Los Angeles DA’s office has again been charged with a possible crime with a firearms charge against Tory, born Daystar Peterson, for his alleged involvement in the July 12 shooting. this, the Toronto artist was not considered a suspect. However, the outlet claims that he could potentially be charged the extra charge after prosecutors asked the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate the shooting further.
Shortly after the incident, Tory was arrested and booked with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for carrying a concealed weapon in a car. Witnesses claimed that an argument took place in an SUV outside a house in the Hollywood Hills section of LA and guns were fired into the air. The car apparently left the scene. When the unconfirmed story is told, Megan was shot in the foot after an argument took place between her and Tory while they were driving in a driver-driven SUV along with another unnamed woman.
Megan has given credit to reports of her shooting after she made several statements via social media. Earlier today, she shared the first images of the cannon wounds she applied to the back of her feet via Instagram. Less than a week after the shooting, a rep confirmed to the LAPD XXL that after Megan Thee Stallion released a statement saying she was ‘suffering gunshot wounds as a result of a crime committed against me and committed with the intent to physically harm me’, Hollywood detectives launched an attack with a deadly weapons investigation. The police department spokesman added that the suspect’s information will only be released once an arrest is made.
