Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion, sources say

Page Six learned that Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was the person who allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion after a dispute inside her vehicle on Sunday morning.

“Tory shot from inside the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave,” an exclusive source told us Thursday. “There is video and the police are investigating. This is the case of a man who physically hurts and mistreats a woman. “

A LAPD spokesman did not confirm whether there was a video sent to the investigation, adding that any video “will not be released until the case reaches the courts to protect the integrity of the case.”

Detectives are seeking information about the shooting involving Daystar Peterson, and the investigation is still ongoing. I do not have the privilege of what detectives have at the moment, “added the spokesman. Police did not say whether Lanez is a suspect.

On Saturday night, Megan, 25, shared on Instagram Live that she was dating Kylie Jenner and Lanez, 27, in a pool, just hours before police responded to a “shooting” call outside from a Hollywood Hills house around 4:30 am

LAPD has requested more information about the incident through an online press release. Police arrested Lanez on Sunday morning when they stopped his SUV, moments after the incident, on charges of possession of weapons.

The rapper posted bail of $ 35,000 and was released at 10:05 am. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 13.

Megan’s best friend Kelsey Nicole, who was also in the vehicle, denied that she was the one who shot Megan.

“I was not the one with the gun and would never do something like that,” she wrote on social media, in screenshots obtained by The Shade Room. “However, I was present.”

Page Six approached Kelsey, but received no response.

Megan’s music producer Lil Ju has sent a series of tweets that appear to condemn Lanez’s role in the incident.

In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote: “@torylanez count your f-king days.”

The producer of “Suga” added in a separate tweet, “I do care that my people are straight! I do care a bit about influence.

Lil Ju also criticized reports that rapper “Luv” was “defending” Megan, calling her a “bull story.”

Lil Ju did not respond to our requests for comment.

On Wednesday, Megan confirmed on Instagram that she had sustained gunshot wounds during the incident on Sunday morning.

“Police officers took me to the hospital where they operated on me to remove the bullets,” rapper “Salvaje” shared. “I am incredibly grateful that I am alive and that I am expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.” He did not mention who shot him or mention Lanez.

TMZ released images of Megan exiting Lanez’s SUV with what appears to be blood dripping from her feet. A LAPD spokesperson confirmed: “One person was rushed to the hospital with a foot injury.”

Representatives for Megan and Lanez could not be reached for comment.
