Page Six learned that Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was the person who allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion after a dispute inside her vehicle on Sunday morning.

A LAPD spokesman did not confirm whether there was a video sent to the investigation, adding that any video “will not be released until the case reaches the courts to protect the integrity of the case.”

Megan’s best friend Kelsey Nicole, who was also in the vehicle, denied that she was the one who shot Megan.

Lil Ju also criticized reports that rapper “Luv” was “defending” Megan, calling her a “bull story.”
Lil Ju did not respond to our requests for comment.
On Wednesday, Megan confirmed on Instagram that she had sustained gunshot wounds during the incident on Sunday morning.
“Police officers took me to the hospital where they operated on me to remove the bullets,” rapper “Salvaje” shared. “I am incredibly grateful that I am alive and that I am expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night.” He did not mention who shot him or mention Lanez.
TMZ released images of Megan exiting Lanez’s SUV with what appears to be blood dripping from her feet. A LAPD spokesperson confirmed: “One person was rushed to the hospital with a foot injury.”
