All NY City Gaps and Targets in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
Here’s how to achieve all the goals, gaps and other objectives in NY City.
High score, pro score, ill score, high com mbo
To achieve these four park goals, you need to beat the following scores in a two minute time limit.
- High score – 20,000
- Pro score – 90,000
- Sick score – 150,000
- High Commbo – 15,000 (in one com mbo)
Collect SKATE
You need to collect the letters that make up the word “skate”. They are scattered throughout the level. Here you will find them:
- S – From where you start, from the park entrance on the left
- K – go down to the park. To the right is a large shower and a large quarter pipe with an upper key
- A – Above a large fountain in the same area. Use the edge of the fountain to ramp up
- T – Go outside and behind the fountain area to the left. T is above the railway
- Near E – E is on the left side above a quarter pipe
Collect 5 subway cards
NY City has five subway cards. Find them all to complete this park goal. You need to collect this to access the level subway section.
- From the starting position, rotate and enter the park. There is a large stone that leads to the subway card in the air
- From there, go straight ahead and to the bridge to find the next subway card
- The front subway card is on the bridge over the rail
- As you exit the park, the front subway card is directly above the quarter pipe
- There is a large back ramp in the park in front of this quarter pipe. Use this ramp to catch the last subway card floating in the air
Once you have all five, you can permanently unlock the sed access of the subway station, access the ac through the escalator.
Oli Hydrants
The city of NY has three fire hydrants. You all need to move forward to accomplish the goal of this park. Here you can find them all:
- From your starting position, turn again and go down the road to the left. There is a hydrant on the pavement on the left
- From the starting position, go straight and take the right at the junction. The second hydrant is at the end of the road on the right
- From the above location, turn and go straight down the road. The final hydrant is down towards the right half
Grind the subway rails
To reach this park, you must collect subway cards and unlock subway access (see above).
Go to the subway station. Go all the way down from one side of the rail to the other.
Sculpture of 50-50 Joy
From the starting position, turn right and you will see the top of Joy’s sculpture – a huge triangular formation. Grind 50-50 on it (triangle).
Get the secret tape
Use the subway track to get to the part of the level banks. Go to the right so that the grassy ridge is to your left. There is a solid road to the left. At the top, you need to grind the rail on the right, then hop on the other rail on the left, grind to the end and jump to get the secret tape.
State points
This is not related to any park goals, but four State Point To collect in the city of NY. Both require you to get all the subway cards and unlock the subway (see above).
- From where you start, turn right and go down into the courtyard. Above is a large quarter pipe next to a building with a state point
- From where you start, turn right and go to the right of the lower veranda. You will see the next state point above the quarter pipe in front of the building
- Use the subway track to get to the bottom of the level. Go to the right so that the grassy ridge is to your left. There’s a way to the left – jump on this to get the state point above a quarter pipe
- Go into the paved area and follow it all the way down. On the right you will see the last state point above the quarter pipe
Vicarious Visions logo
There is a hidden one Vicarious Visions logo At each level. It looks like the two letters are stacked on top of each other. Here is where the logo of Vivarius Visions is in NY City.
This requires that you first find all the subway cards. Once you have it, go up the escalator to the subway station. Go to the track, go to the left. Once you pass the left side wall, you can descend to a cliff. Do this and you will see the logo next.
Alien Pluschi
From the starting position, turn right to see the building that the Upper B says. Go down to the courtyard and turn to find the quarter pipe. Go after him to find the alien plush.
