Some of the most recognizable La La Land movie props in film history are finally released to the public, but none of this is cheap … far from it.
The famous Prop Store, which houses a treasure trove of collectibles from Hollywood, is hosting a MONSTERS auction in late August that will feature some iconic icons to bid for the first time.
And understand this … only 20 items are sold in total, but they are expected to fetch more than $ 6 million, depending on how professionals have valued each piece individually beforehand.
Okay, let’s go to the loot. Tom CruiseRoyal Fighter Pilot Helmet in “Top Gun” (RIP, Goose), the 11-foot model Nostromo spacecraft used in “Alien” and Robin Williams‘Peter Pan sword in “Hook”.
Tom’s helmet is expected to go between $ 50k- $ 70k, Nostromo will likely be in the $ 300k- $ 500k stadium (DAMN IT !!!) and Peter Banning’s gun could snag between $ 12k- $ 16k.
But wait, there is more!!! Leo DiCaprioCadillac Coupe De Ville yellow and Brad PittThe Karmann Ghia sports car from “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is also up for grabs. Those cubs are expected to carry between $ 20,000 and $ 55,000; Leo’s journey is at the top end, naturally. It’s a cart!
