Tom Cruise and director Li Liman could go into space in October-October 2021 for their film, according to images from the space shuttle Almanac.
On Monday for the space shuttle Almanac shared a photo of the spacecraft and the countries that will be launched in the next three years on Twitter. While the names of the charts, flags, and spacecraft may seem like a quagmire before, a closer look reveals some of Hollywood’s closest and favorite names.
Part of the chart dated October 21, 2021, reads “SpaceX Crew Dragon” with an image of a small spacecraft next to it. Next to the illustrator is a list of three names: SpaceX pilot Lopez Allegria, Tourist 1 Tom Cruise and Tourist 2 Doug Lyman. The tourist flight also shows the vacancy for a third visitor.
While it’s not clear whether the 20 October 2021 voyage is an extraterrestrial space for Cruz and Lehman, or whether he’s making his first-of-its-kind film, Cruz could soon get his spatial foothold. Enough.
In May, Deadline learned that Cruise Elon Musk was partnering with the company for NASA’s first feature film. The deadline in July learned that Universal would return $ 200 million to the space film.
