Tom Cruise doesn’t let anyone run with him on screen, according to Annabelle Wallis.
The actress, who starred opposite Cruise in ‘The Mummy’ in 2017, told the Hollywood Reporter that when it comes to the actor who hits his hit on set, it’s a one man show.
‘I had to turn on the screen with him, but he told me no at first. He said: ‘Nobody is running on screen [with me], ‘and I said,’ But I’m a really good runner, ” Wallis explained. ‘That, I would put my treadmill on time, that he would run into it and see me run. And then he added all these running scenes. That, that was it. ”
Wallis, 35, went on to declare that she enjoyed the rare opportunity.
‘It was, if, better than an Oscar. I was so happy! I was so happy to be on screen with Tom Cruise, ”she said.
Wales’ reveal comes as no surprise, as the action star has a reputation for doing his own stunts. For 2018’s “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” Cruise, 58, performed a HALO (high altitude low opening) jump, which required a skydive of 25,000 feet with a parachute opening at under 3,000 feet, among several other kaw-drop- feats.
In May, NASA confirmed that it was looking to make a movie in space.
