Although public health experts have urged Americans to avoid traveling to you this holiday season due to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic, some may choose to make plans for Christmas.

If you are planning to get together with people living outside your home this holiday season, it is good to know how COVID-19 can present itself.

On its website, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns that the symptoms of the novel virus can range from mild to severe, noting that older adults “and people who appear to have serious underlying medical conditions such as heart or lung disease or diabetes. COVID-19 increases the risk of developing more serious complications than illness. ”

Infected people can show various symptoms of the virus, with most symptoms appearing two to 14 days after exposure to the virus.
