TikTok users injured themselves dancing to Cardi B’s ‘WAP’

It’s bone break-dance.

As if TikTok hadn’t spawned enough dangerous stunts, no-seekers are now injured and are even admitted to the hospital trying to work on the amazing hit “WAP” by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion.

Fans are trying to replicate a viral dance invented by Guam’s Brian Esperon, which involves performing a complex series of moves, ranging from a jumping high kick to doing the splits as it goes, per the tutorial with 13 million views.

“In any case, you will not be able to wear a skirt for a week, because your legs will be covered with bruises,” warns one poster in a vid with more than 15 million views. The TikTok user says she also had a pinched neck from her “WAP” dance disaster.

In a more serious incident, a Cardi-Wanna-B was admitted to the hospital after she blew her knee while attempting the high-flying feat.

Esperon himself recently posted a comment on the crashing clip, where he quipped, “If the dance you did on tiktok sends someone to the hospital.”

The choreographer also asked if anyone else had injured themselves while doing his dance, and tons of answers were guaranteed.

“I hurt my back,” wrote user emily.chavezz of her failed stunt simulation.

Another said, ‘Yes, I had to pop my knee back in place. I will try it again later. ‘

“I had to wear a knee brace when I did it, but I almost untied it again,” user Emililharris commented on the video of the woman who injured her knee. “I can feel this if I just look at it.”

Based on fans, Esperon has since created a (relatively) easier “WAP” dance that caters to inflexible people.

Unfortunately, the scintillating stunt is not the only internet trend with the potential for injuries. The viral TikTok “penny challenge” has been hailed by arsonists as a fire hazard, while the “skull-breaker” challenge is considered deadly by doctors.
