Tiger Woods’ 11-year-old son wins Junior Golf Tournament

Woods’ son took part in a US Kids Golf Sanctions event at Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Florida over the weekend – and he dominated the competition.

Charlie outscored all the boys who competed in the age 11 category, and shot three under 33 over nine holes while finishing with three birds. He defeated the finisher of second place by 5 penalties.

Woods, 44, was present, and he could be seen in photos shared on social media that acted as Charlie’s caddy for sharing the event, with his bag of clubs between rounds.

This is not the first time Woods Sr. has seen a pictured caddying for his son. In January, a video appeared of Charlie hitting balls on a practice field in front of a junior tournament in Florida, with his father standing behind him. The video, taken from a distance, misses social media.
Last month, Woods told GolfTV that it “is an absolute blast to go out and just, you know, be with him.”

“He’s starting to understand how to play. He’s asking me the right questions,” Woods said. “I kept it competitive with his par.”

He complimented his son as well, noting “I wish I had his move.”

Woods shares two children – Charlie, and 13-year-old Sam – with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, whom he divorced in 2010.
