Tiger King star Carole Baskin poses over Cardi B’s “Wap” video

Carole Baskin, fan Tiger King fame, feels some kind of way about Cardi B’s new “Wap” video.

The visual, featuring Megan Thee Stallion, was released Friday (August 7). It contains the handsomely clad MCs in a house, sometimes surrounded by a variety of tigers. The use of the exotic animals was blown up by Baskin, a major cat rights activist. On Saturday (August 8), TMZ published an article explaining Baskin with her frustration.

According to the report, Baskin believes the video is a glamorization of rich people who have exotic animals as pets. She thinks it can make, “every ignorant follower wants to imitate by doing the same.” Although the animals were probably not present at the rappers, if not CGI, Baskin still says that capturing the animals with a green screen can be “unnatural and confusing.”

Carol Baskin went viral after the release of Tiger King, a 2020 documentary that chronicles her beef in part with Oklahoma-based private zoo operator Joe Exotic, who is serving 22 years in prison for a murder plot aimed at Baskin. She was even the subject of a number of memes.

Back in March, Cardi B Baskin called after seeing the Tiger King documentary on Netflix. “Carol you think you’re slick bitch,” Bardi posted on Twitter. “Who do you think is more wrong? Narcissist joe? Or Greedy Carol? And why?” she added. Cardi sat down with Joe and even expressed a desire to start a GoFundMe page for the persistent man.
