West announced that he intends to run for president in 2020.

“Now we must deliver on the promise of the United States by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for President of the United States,” West wrote on July 4 on Twitter, along with an American flag emoji. Despite what an uphill battle would be if he decided to flee, the idea was praised by West’s friend Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, who replied, “You have my full support.”

After teasing West’s exact verbiage to announce his own nomination, Tiffany Haddish wrote that comedian Dave Chappelle will be joining his ticket. “Well this only on Dave Chappelle will be my running mate,” he wrote in a follow-up tweet, adding, “So # HaddishChappelle2020.”

Paris Hilton, who, like our current president, hails from the hotel and reality TV business, also threw her tiara in the ring, joking, “PARIS FOR THE PRESIDENT.”

Bob Saget also got in on the fun, asking fans on Twitter if he should consider a career, and bragging that he meets the presidential criteria too often for not knowing “much about nothing.”

He later wrote, “I have a GREAT announcement to make! Last night I jokingly tweeted and asked if I should run for president too … But thanks to all your kind support, I made a decision … Wait, because HERE HE COMES. .. “, before tweeting an official-looking campaign poster featuring John Stamos as his running mate.

Others joking about running in November include Hilary Duff, Toni Braxton and Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park.
