NEWS: Three members of the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club are killed and nine others are seriously injured by a drunk driver who crashed into his convoy in Texas

Three members of the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club were killed and nine others were injured after a drunk driver crashed into his convoy.

The group was on the road celebrating their birthday on Highway 16 in Kerrville, Texas, when the motorist crossed the central division and crashed into them.

The unidentified driver was arrested and charged with intoxicated murder and assault, News 4 San Antonio reported.

The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office released a statement saying: ‘Please keep our brothers with the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club in your prayers. ‘

The group describes itself as a group of “active duty, retired or reserve law enforcement officers from a variety of agencies and jurisdictions.”

“As a fraternal organization, we strive to support each other, law enforcement professionals, and our community,” its website reads.

“Our colors clearly identify our affiliation with law enforcement and we are required to abide by our” code of ethics “oath.
