In case you missed it, there have been some important updates to the Thor: love and thunder front. In the last days Thor 4 director Taika waititi and star Natalie Portman I’ve shared some ideas about where things are with the script and when filming is expected to start. In a private year of Marvel movies and teasing the sets of upcoming Phase Four titles, these Thor 4 Updates are very necessary.
The first update is courtesy of Portman, who casually revealed Thor 4 is set to start filming in early 2021. Portman shared the update while chatting with Serena Williams during an Instagram live chat for clothing brand Serena Williams over the weekend. At one point in the brief conversation, Portman commented, “We are filming in Australia early next year.”

The second update comes from Waititi, who talked about where she was on the writing front. Speaking to BBC News, Waititi said: “I think it is going very well. We have been writing the script for over a year and … and actually this week doing another pass,” and we keep saying the script for Thor 4 He is “very crazy” and “also very romantic,” adding to the romantic note by explaining, “I want to do something I have never done or never cared about.” I’d like to attack something like that. “
A year has passed since Thor: love and thunder it was officially announced at Comic-Con 2019. At the time, we learned that Portman would return to the MCU as Jane Foster and, even better, he would probably be taking up the mantle of Thor.
