If you thought MP3 players went the way of the iPod Shuffle, well, they did most of the time. Many (most?) People save their music libraries on their phones, or collect music altogether in favor of streaming services like Spotify. But there are times that a dedicated music player can come in handy, and right now you can get one for a song. (Rim shot.)
For a limited time, and although deliveries take time, the Wiwoo 16GB MP3 player with Bluetooth is just $ 10.80 with promo code JU9YBPFP. It normally sells for $ 36.
First things first: BYO headphones. Although Wiwoo provides a set of wired earbuds, they are absolutely awful. Tinny, uncomfortable, guaranteed to break; throw them away. Fortunately, the player himself is good. I picked up cable-threatened Apple earbuds and later paired some Bluetooth headphones with the player and found the sound quality overall very good. (That was with some high bit-rate MP3s; your experience may vary, of course.)
In addition to 16 GB of onboard storage, the player has a microSD slot that can hold memory cards up to 128GB. It supports almost all major music formats, and can also play AMV and AVI videos on its 2.4-inch screen. (Hot take: Nothing. You have a phone for it.)
The player also has an FM radio, although to use it requires headphones – the wire serves as an antenna. Wiwoo even provides a wristband for listening on the go and an AUX cable for jacking into your car radio or stereo at home.
However, keep in mind that the player is not very good at handling playlists (you need to tune your tunes in one of the three pre-configured on the device), and it limits your playback options to alphabetical order as shuffle-play. Not ideal.
Mar, $ 11! If all you need is a simple player for your audio library, they will not come much cheaper than this.
