Selling Sunset season 3 has officially landed on Netflix, and we can safely say that it is not lacking in any drama.
One big topic covered by the season is Chrishell Stause’s divorce from Justin Hartley, which fans saw a preview of at the end of season 2. This series picks up where it left off, following Chrishell as he deals with the divorce, but his ex Justin Hartley is reportedly unhappy with the way the split was described.
An episode of the new season shows Chrishell confiding in Mary Fitzgerald, revealing that Justin “took her by surprise”, claiming that he told her he had filed for divorce via text message. She added: “45 minutes later, the world found out.”
However, Justin Hartley is reportedly “irritated” by the portrayal of the show and says there is more to the story.
A source told Us Weekly, “Justin has not seen the episodes but has been alerted to what is being said.
“He is irritated that she is relaying her private information publicly and knows there is more to the story than is being told. His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it is your choice what is published “.
The source continued: “The claims made on the show that something changed in Justin after his This is Us fame are completely untrue. Chrishell knows that’s not what happened, so let people believe that bothers him. .
They added: “Justin is in a good place. [He] wants to move on. “
Justin filed for divorce in late November, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The documents reportedly listed July 8, 2019 as the date of their separation, but the couple had been publicly attending events together (including the Emmy Awards) until November, around the time the third series of Selling Sunset was filmed.
We haven’t heard from Justin himself yet in response to the season, but we hope both he and Chrishell are doing well.
