Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and other right-leaning critics called on MSNBC medical analyst Dr. Vin Gupta, when he told viewers that even after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, they should wear masks and avoid traveling at least until the summer.
“You’re vaccinated with that second dose, it doesn’t mean you have to take part in things like traveling between epidemics out of control, or you’re free from the mask,” he said. He said. “Still everything applies. Until we all get a two-dose branch. We don’t think it’s going to happen by June, July.
“We don’t know if just getting vaccinated saves you from serious illness, or does it save you from getting a full infection?” Gupta added, “That means you can still potentially be infected with the virus and pass it on to others … don’t let your guard down just by vaccinating.”
The clip, which was flagged off by original Grebian founder Tom Elliott, described Cruz as “a strange, insane, totalitarian cult” that drew a lot of feedback.
The Republic of Texas added, “It’s not about vaccines or saving people’s lives, but it’s just anti-science, and it’s focused on full government control of every aspect of our lives.”
This is a strange, insane, totalitarian sect.
It’s not about vaccines or protecting people’s lives – instead it’s anti-science, and it’s just about total government control of every aspect of our lives. https://t.co/ORSgtJoGLZ

Jeep Jordan (R-OH) shared a similar sentiment.
At first, he was not wearing a mask.
After that, the spread was slow.
Then, it was locking everything down.
Then, he was wearing a mask.
After that, she was waiting for the vaccine.
Now that we have the vaccine, they tell us it’s not going to stop.

Noah Rothman, associate editor of the commentary, predicts that the message will “move forward like a cold souffle and everyone will pretend he never said it.”

“Not ahead of anyone, at least without comorbidities or risky loved ones, he’ll get two shots of the vaccine and he’s still behaving like 2020,” Rothman said later. “If your public messaging strategy is that people who have gained two momentum should still bridge the gap, wear masks and avoid social engagement, then your messaging strategy is muted.”
Others were amazed at the advice and wondered if the vaccine was really effective.
The point of the vaccine is to bring us back to normal. https://t.co/QdkI72y25L

Gupta replied that even after receiving the second dose of the vaccine, they would “continue to follow all health precautions.”
I got my vaccine tomorrow and I’m grateful to the scientists who worked hard to make it happen.
After 21 days after the 2nd dose, I will continue to avoid masking, distance and travel until the king says otherwise.
Be vigilant, ignore the noise, normalcy is ahead.
