Samsung was previously believed to skip the Galaxy M41 and head straight for the Galaxy M51 due to display related issues. Apparently that’s not the case as the Galaxy M41 has received 3C certification and its battery has also been seen on the Safety Korea website (via SamMobile).
The listings reveal that the phone will carry a huge 6,800 mAh battery, the largest cell ever seen on a Galaxy smartphone.
Listing 3C showing the battery capacity of the Galaxy M41 / M51
Since the M-range is an entry-level series, it’s likely to only support 15W charge speeds, meaning it would take a long time to replace a discharged battery. That might not be a bad thing, as many consumers prefer larger batteries than fast charging speeds because higher capacity means the device will last longer on a single charge.

It is also quite possible that the Galaxy M41 has been archived and that this battery is intended for the Galaxy M51, which is shaping up to be a promising inexpensive device.
Samsung is apparently So keen on cutting costs that he is acquiring the OLED panel of the China Star OLED device and is not using his own screen, something that would be the first time for Galaxy phones.
The phones are likely to run on Snapdragon 730 SoC and offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will likely feature a 6.5-inch pinhole screen with an integrated fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack on top. A rectangular Galaxy S20-esque camera bump is also expected that will have a triple camera setup with a 64MP main shooter and an LED flash unit.
The Galaxy M51 is supposed to be close to $ 250 and will make its debut in September.
