Custom console mock-ups are popular online, and @XboxPope’s latest PS5 concept pays homage to Batman. The designer shared her latest console creation on social media this past weekend, and it gives the PS5 and its controller a very sleek look. Half of Batman’s face appears on both the console and the controller, in a beautiful black and blue color. It’s a safe bet that this would be a hot seller if Sony released an official console with that design! Fans of Batman can see what the concept of @ XboxPope looks like in the images found in the Tweet below.

While the console is just a mock-up, Batman fans should still have a lot to look forward to in the next console generation! On Friday, Rocksteady Studios released their first official teaser for an upcoming Suicide Squad game. While the title has long been rumored, it looks like an official reveal is likely to arrive at DC FanDome later this month. In addition to Suicide Squad, a new Batman game from Warner Bros. will also be released. Montreal rumored to be unveiling during the FanDome event. Warner Bros. Montreal is responsible for 2013s Batman: Arkham Origins.
If a next-gen Batman game is unveiled at FanDome, it’s likely to see release on PlayStation 5, as well as Xbox Series X. Special editions of console releases tend to happen just for exclusive games; for example a special edition PS4 based on Marvel’s Spider-Man next to that game released. As such, fans should not be too enthusiastic about the idea of a Batman PS5 console seeing an official release. Fans will just have to take a look at the sleek design of @ XboxPope and hope that Sony and Warner Bros. what can work out!
@XboxPope has shown a number of console mock-ups in recent months. Back in May, the designer unveiled a mock-up of an Xbox Series X based on Halo infinite. The design seemed to be a big hit with Halo fans, and a Halo infinite special edition is somewhat more likely considering the franchise’s Xbox exclusivity.
