A new, unannounced Sonic dual pack for Nintendo Switch has appeared online.
Although SEGA has yet to confirm the new release, the game – which includes both Sonic Mania and Team Sonic Racing in one handy package – is currently available to order now from Amazon for $ 40.
As detected by GoNintendo (thanks, Nintendo Life) the game is set to be released on October 26, 2020, but already US store page is live and accepting pre-orders, there is no similar mention in the UK store yet.
If you missed the games the first time, in the GamesRadar + Team Sonic Racing review, we said the racer “falls in almost every way”.
“The ride is stiff and clunky, race tracks are insane in their design and decoration, and small elements – like cutting presentation and article design – feel uninvolved and boring,” the review states, before adding that while some “parts of Sonic’s road trips are enjoyable, as is the team mechanics that the whole game round is based on, “it’s not enough to keep me behind the wheel any longer than I should.”
This is not the only leak that recently leaked from Amazon. Although industry insiders have whispers parts of an unannounced reboot, the Need for speed: Hot Pursuit remaster recently appeared on Amazon UK and is said to be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC, in addition to Switch. It was removed immediately, but not before the internet managed to take a screenshot, of course.
In the meantime, here’s our choice for the best Nintendo Switch games to get you through.
