These lonely otters found love in the lockdown just for the holidays

Harris, an Asian short-haired otter, lost his mate at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary in England and found himself alone for the first time in four years, CNN reported earlier. Pumpkin, who lost her elderly spouse, assured Harris of the fulfillment of her bachelor’s degree in the name of love.

The pumpkin was patiently awaiting his arrival at the SEA LIFE Scarborough of Harris from the home of the pumpkin with the fear of becoming a catfish.

While the introduction of these otters can be a bit nerve-racking and difficult, it is best for the male to go into the female territory so that he can approach her more easily.

“Here at Scarborough after a very sad period for both Pumpkin and the Animal Care team we are pleased to report that Pumpkin is not happy once again, but Harris has settled very well and has already become part of the SEA LIFE Scarborough family Is, “curator Todd German said in a press release.

The pair were initially moved into rented accommodation where they were able to get to know each other in private, CA Life said. Now things are going to swim.

As their bond grew, they took the next step and got the keys to their permanent home. Guests at CI Life Scarborough can now meet the adorable otter couple.

When Harris had to say goodbye to his family at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, he stays with them via WhatsApp.

“We are delighted that Pumpkin and Harris are moving very well and settling down very quickly,” said Cornish Seal Sanctuary curator Tamara Cooper.

ALine reopened the SEA Life Aquarium December 2 with comprehensive safety measures, including booking only, enhanced cleaning, personal protective devices and social distance.
