There really was a conspiracy against the bulls!

I’M HOT … AND NOT IN A FUNNY WAY NBA JAM.

Mark Turmell, the creator of one of the most famous basketball games this earth has ever touched, NBA Jam, revealed a dirty little secret in a recent interview with YouTube channel Ars Technica.

THE GAME WAS PROGRAMMED TO SCREW ON THE BULLS.

Check it out:

Then the truth comes out! YOUR HONOR, I REST MY CASE.

Turmell grew up in Michigan and admits to being a Pistons fan (who … older ew), and said this sneaky greed was his way of returning to the Bulls for his rise to fame in the 90s.

As furious as some of us might be with this confession, a quick Google search will show you that it’s not actually the first time it’s presented (probably all that guilt). In an interview with ESPN Magazine in 2008, Turmell fell apart when asked by reporter Jon Robinson if Scottie Pippen’s rating dropped or not when he played with certain teams.

True, but only when the Bulls played with the Pistons. If there was a game closed and someone in the Bulls took a last second shot, we wrote a special code in the game to make them bricks. There was a lot of competition on the day between the Pistons and the Bulls, and as I was always a huge Pistons fan, that was my chance to level the playing field.

Do you see that, children? That’s a quote from a devilish man.

Blame it on him.
