The Umbrella Academy is a sci-fi superhero story that often messes with the space-time continuum, allowing history to unravel for interpretation and change. That means, when characters die, fans are left to ask if they are indeed dead. If a character can come back to life through a little thinking with the past, then how should fans know who is gone forever, and who is gone first? Who dies only to serve a direct, yet temporary narrative purpose?
