The U.S. console hacking group arrested two members of Team Jacquard


Two members of Team Jacquard, a group that develops and sells devices that allow people to play pirated copies of games on their consoles, are in FBI custody. Max Lauren, a 48-year-old French national, and Gary Bowser, a 51-year-old Canadian, were arrested in September, the Justice Department said Friday. Both faces 11 crime teams charge everyone related to their activities by Xecuter. The agency also charged Yuanying Chen, 35, of Shenzhen, China. Lourne and Bauer were the leaders of Team Jacquard, according to the DOJ.

Team Zacker came under discussion earlier this week when the group’s hardware-selling website Ber Bersips agreed to a 2 2 million settlement with Nintendo. The company is also pending a lawsuit against the group. According to DOJ, the team executor consists of more than a dozen members, including individuals who specialize in detecting the exploitation of software in consoles. Among other systems, the group targeted Switch, 3DS and NES Classic.
