“While the details of the long-range and intensive forecasts are uncertain, Laura is predicted to strengthen over the Gulf of Mexico and there is an increasing risk of effects from storm surges, precipitation and winds along parts of the U.S. Gulf Coast through the mid-week, ”reports the National Hurricane Center.

Tropical Storm Marco is expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coast near Louisiana on Monday, though the National Hurricane Center reports that the track could still shift between now and Monday.
