More than a year after announcing the thing in June of 2019, Hasselblad is finally ready to start selling and shipping the 907X 50C: a (relatively) compact medium format system that digitally combines the CFV II 50C V System back with the smallest medium-sized Hasselblad has ever made.
Since it was announced last year, the only way to pick up a 907X 50C was by purchasing the special edition, matte black landing version for $ 7,500. Fortunately, that is no longer required, and you can now pick up the regular version for more than $ 1000 less.
As a reminder, the 907X 50C consists of the digital rear CFV II 50C and the small 907X camera body, which can be better described as a detachable X System lens system. The CFV II 50C is compatible with most V System cameras from 1957 onwards, while the 907X body produces a compact package that can be used with the same XCD lenses as the X1D and X1D II mirrorless media formats.

In addition, you can extend the reduction package by attaching a “control handle” and an optical viewfinder, both of which can be purchased separately. Together, these will set you back an extra ~ $ 1,200, but they should make the whole system a little easier to handle.
You can pick up the 907X today and all its accessories. The regular 907X 50C will run you $ 6,400, the 907X Control Grip costs an additional $ 730, and the 907X Optical Viewfinder can be obtained for another $ 500. Shipping is scheduled to begin in late August.
