- Former Trump campaign adviser and attorney Jenna Ellis said Joe Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris “sounds like Marge Simpson” after the two appeared together at their first event.
- The animated character from “The Simpsons” punished the insult and said she “felt a little disrespectful”.
- After the TV series posted the clip on Friday, Ellis dismissed: “Marge will probably vote Democrat … by post.”

Marge Simpson had ‘something to say’ after her vote was compared to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris’ by one of President Donald Trump’s advisers.
“I do not normally get into politics, but former adviser to President Jenna Ellis just said that Kamala Harris sounds to me,” the fictional character said in a clip “The Simpsons” official account posted Friday.
“Lisa said she does not mean it as a compliment,” she added, referring to her daughter from the popular TV series.
Ellis mocked Harris earlier this week after she made her first appearance alongside Biden as his vice presidential candidate at a campaign event in Delaware.

“I was starting to feel a little disrespected,” Marge said Friday in the video. “I teach my children not to name names, Jenna.”
The matriarch of the animation program is known for her unimaginably raspy voice, performed by actor Julie Kavner.
Ellis quickly declined to comment on the character’s response, claiming that “Marge is likely to vote Democrat … by post.”
Their comments touched on Democrats’ efforts to expand access to voice-mail for the November general election to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. Trump has again shrugged off the movements, pedaling a false statement that widespread postal voting will lead to voter fraud, although he himself has voted by post in the past and intends to do so again. Trump and his allies have said they believe postal voting would benefit Democrats.
