Original article: December 10, 2020 (3:49 AM): Samsung to launch Galaxy S21 series globally on January 14 Android Authority Through Samsung’s largest mobile experience store in India. Store executives at Samsung’s Opera House outlet in Bengaluru told us over the phone that sales of the flagship series would start in India from January 29, as the shares would arrive in the country just a week after the global launch.
The exclusive Samsung store has also started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra in India. Any Rs. Paying 2,000 ($ 27) can pre-book the next-gen Samsung flagships and the store will keep buyers informed of specific availability and delivery details via availability app. People who pre-book can choose the S21 model of their choice after the official announcement of the phone, so they do not need to lock any particular model if they pay the pre-booking amount now.
In addition to confirming the details of the launch and availability in India, Samsung store officials also confirmed the colorway of the next three models.
According to our information, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be available in gray, pink, purple and white. The Galaxy S21 Plus will launch in pink, purple, silver and black. Meanwhile, the top-the-line Galaxy S21 Ultra will only come in Black and Silver colorways. We have already seen renders and teasers showing the phone in some of these colors.
Elsewhere, the Samsung Store confirmed leaked camera specs for the Galaxy S21 Ultra for the previous 108MP main camera, two 10MP sensors, one of which will support 10x optical zoom and laser autofocus. We haven’t found the details on the fourth sensor, but it’s going to be a 12MP shooter.
