- The Samsung Galaxy S20F is getting a third firmware update to fix the touchscreen issues.
- Users still report problems with scrolling and zooming in on the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S20F has been beset by touchscreen issues for some users since its launch. After two failed attempts to completely fix the problems, Samsung has now once again released a third software update for the phone aimed at fixing touchscreen issues.
According to Semmobile, Samsung is now rolling out the firmware version G781BXXU1ATK1 to the Snapdragon 865 variant of the Galaxy S20F. The update brings the November security patch to the phone and also improves stability for the touchscreen. However, users with affected handsets are experiencing issues with the screen even after the update.

One user writes on Reddit that the latest Galaxy S20F update fixes gear scrolling to some extent, but not completely. There are other reports that the touchscreen experience has improved but not yet on the target. The main issue that needs to be addressed is to zoom in and out on the screen. This action obviously results in strong shaking and irregular behavior.
It looks like Samsung is on its way to fixing the S20FE’s screen issues. If there is something wrong with the hardware then another update or so should be done. That said, it would have been great if Samsung had faced these problems before launching the phone into the market. No one likes to buy a new device and the basics are not working as they should.
