The Royal Caribbean will launch a Bahamas cruise for vaccinated passengers in June



The Royal Caribbean will bring another ship back to sea.

On Friday, Cruise Line announced that its ship, Adventure the Seas, would begin returning from the Bahamas in June.

According to the declaration, adult passengers are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and passengers under the age of 18 will only be allowed onboard if they have a negative coronavirus test result.

Crew members will also be vaccinated, Cruise Line said.

According to the announcement, the seven-night cruise in Adventure the Seas will depart from Nassau, Bahamas and visit the Caucasus Islands of the Royal Caribbean, Grand Bahamas Island, the Bahamas and Cozumel, Mexico.

The cruise will start on June 12 and run until August. Tickets for the cruise will begin March 24.

“We are excited to deliver a memorable holiday in the Caribbean slowly and securely,” Royal Caribbean President and CEO Michael Bailey said in a statement. “These vaccines are clearly a game changer for all of us, and given the rapid increase in the number of vaccinations and their impact, we believe that vaccinations are the right choice for adult guests and crews starting with a cruise.”

Bailey added, “As we move forward, we anticipate this requirement and other measures inevitably evolve over time,” Bailey added.

According to the announcement, the Royal Caribbean Healthy Sail Panel, the Royal Caribbean Group’s head of public health and chief medical officer, local government and health officials are “developing comprehensive, multilateral health and safety measures.”

The announcement said the cruise line would release more details on subsequent protocols.

Cruise Line said in its announcement that vacationers can guarantee their well-being and are the top priorities of the Royal Caribbean from visiting crew members and communities.

Passengers will not only have to take a full cruise vaccine to travel in Adventure the Seas, they will also have to comply with Bahamas travel requirements, which may include obtaining and filling out a negative PCR test before filling out a country travel entry form. Said the Caribbean.

Earlier this month, the cruise line postponed numerous trips until May 31. However, the Royal Caribbean has been able to operate three-four night “sea gateway” trips from Singapore, with no stops at its quantum seas abroad.
