With all three Subway Series games scheduled for this weekend at Citi Field, it is believed that Aaron Judge will be ready to come off the injured list when the Yankees’ season begins again.

Russ is 15-10 with 50 saves, a 2.48 ERA in 152 ² / ₃ innings and 200 strikeouts in 126 relief appearances in three minor seasons with the Phillies. Last year, he pitched for Double-A Reading and went 5-6 with 22 saves and a 2.54 ERA in 55 games. He was with the Phillies in spring training as a non-roster guest. The Yankees added Russ to their 60-man roster and assigned him to their alternate side in Scranton.
Hale made five relief appearances for the Yankees this season, placing a 3.00 ERA in six innings with one save. In 28 games with the Yankees from 2018-20, Hale had a 3-0 record with a 2.98 ERA.
