The queen would ‘not allow’ Prince William to become king before Charles despite the demand

Many in the UK long to see Prince William become the next King

Queen Elizabeth II reportedly rejected calls for Prince William to take over the throne after her in place of her father, Prince Charles.

According to royal expert Victoria Arbiter, many in the UK yearn to see the Duke of Cambridge become the next King before Prince Charles after His Majesty’s abdication.

Speaking on the Channel 5 documentary William and Kate: too good to be trueArbiter said: “It would be shocking to skip Prince Charles, I think that is more driven by William’s youth.”

However, Simon Vigar, a correspondent for Channel 5, claimed that despite being in high demand, the monarch would never allow that to happen.

“The queen doesn’t believe in breaking the rules, she doesn’t want Charles to step aside when she passes. William doesn’t want that to happen,” she said.

“He will be William the fifth one day and she will be Queen Catherine, and I honestly believe that what you see is what you get. They are not fakes,” he added.

William’s youth, charisma, and modernization of the monarchy make him one of the most popular and admired members of the British royal family.
