The source of the video is a reddit user wsb_BernieMadoff (probably not the one) who claims they paid someone in Russia ફૂ 100 (117) for the footage. Disappointingly, there is clearly a lot in the clip, as you can see that the video progress bar is too far to play before it ends. It suggests that the rest of the video either contains identical information, or simply that the source believes it can make more money for the next juicy stuff.
Redditter also went to the R / Russian board to help translate both on-screen text and background chat. While the former is only a standard epilepsy warning, the latter is somewhat clearer:

– “No, it’s like a double camera in a mobile phone.”
– “Portrait mode?”
– “Yes.”
People are divided over whether the clip is legal, and even if the money is well spent, a large chunk of the footage is similar to the one already canceled by Sony in June.
Personally, I am willing to give the video the benefit of the doubt. If it’s a clip above plastered on a TV with classic PlayStation login gin icons, it’s done pretty well. And while others say that the black control pad is a dead chance that Sony has just announced a white pad and console, I would say that it is very close to inevitable that black will eventually come. Plus, it won’t be the first time a black PS5 pad has been leaked.
For their part, wsb_BernieMadoff doesn’t seem completely convincing. “Whether the scandal happened or not, I’m glad I could at least get the video for the community,” he wrote.
The PlayStation 5 arrives in American on November 12, and the price is $ 499 or 39 9,399 depending on whether you can live without a Blu-ray drive.
