Peacock has released her new one Saved By the Bell reboot trailer on Monday (August 10), featuring fan-favorite alumni Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez and more.
In the popular origins of sitcoms of the 1990s, Zack Morris (Gosselaar) is the governor of California, but gets into some trouble when he closes too many low-income high schools. The affected students must then attend the highest performing schools in the state, including Bayside High.
In the new trailer, Jessie Spano (Berkley Lauren) brings her iconic meltdown back to the tune of ‘The Pointer Sisters” I’m So Excited ‘when she stops Morris’ son Mac from giving up the fatal caffeine- pills to fellow student Daisy.
‘At first they are so exciting. And then it becomes even more exciting, ”pleads Jessie. ‘But then it gets so scary. And finally, you ruin your girl group’s shot at a recording contract. ”
