The Pixel 5 Unboxing videos provide the impression of Google’s phones

While the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G are not set to launch by the end of this month, Google has started sending its new phones to reviewers, capable of sharing videos of the unboxing process with first impressions.

Today, the Google Pixel 5 has begun to receive reviews in a stunning all-in-one kit that includes the Pixel 5, the phone’s fabric facial fabric case, and a set of Google’s true wireless pixel buds. Notably, all of this seems to be in special packaging that we don’t really see in retail stores.

From what each reviewer has said, Google has allowed them to show the unboxing process for everything that comes in Pixel 5 and Box. Additionally, we’ll learn the first impressions of every reviewer on the phone, however, as of close to launch we have yet to get any opinions.

First, we have the Tech Sprit, which just shows the full unbox boxing of the Black Pixel 5 and goes through a short tour of the Pixel 5 highlights and some of the new features of Android 11.

Next, we have Tech Infection, which has given the Pixel 5 the most negative first impression, describing the rear design as “recycled cardboard” and sorta sage, saying “I’ve seen a very vaguely colored smartphone in a very short time.”

Meanwhile, the early tech shows wireless charging capabilities unlike the Pixel 5, which charges a set of pixel buds. Also, we learn that the Pixel 5’s rear camera doesn’t move the phone far enough to thump on a flat surface.

And of course, while most people have focused their attention on the flagship Pixel 5, some reviewers are also getting a more affordable Pixel 4A 5G. SuperSafe received both phones and the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4 were able to share the full, simultaneous unboxings of the 5G.

Finally, the people of Android Police have shared some of the images and size, look and feel of the Pixel 4A 5G.

The big phone sits comfortably close to the smaller Pixel 4A, and I think it’s a lot easier than it would be. That’s probably because it’s a little smaller than your usual “XL” or “Plus” phone variant. On the side, phones like the Samsung Galaxy S10 + and Pixel 4XL are significantly larger, although the Pixel 4A 5G packs a screen of almost the same size.

Hopefully these unboxed boxings and first impressions will starve the Pixel 5 until it launches later this month – October 15 in most countries and October 29 in the United States.
