The Panthers can’t stop the Saints, can come at 27-24

Wide receiver DJ Moore paired the touchdowns in the first half, scoring first on an explosive game.

On the 26th to 2nd and 14th of Carolina, Moore was open from the middle of the field, and quarterback Teddy Bridgewart pushed it forward. The wide did the rest of the run, running 33 yards after the catch to pay the dirt for the 74-yard score.

Later in the second quarter, Bridgeworth sent Moore on a left-to-right jet sweep motion, giving him a pitch pass from a shotgun, and Moore prevented the Tacklers from entering the end zone for a y-yard score.

Burns from Strip-S C Kathi

Defensive coordinator Phil Snow said this week that Brian Burns expects to see an increase in his productivity over the next few weeks, and that Snow became the prophetic mediator in the second quarter from the defensive end.

For the third time in three estates, with the Saints in the Panthers’ field, Burns Newleans were put off the board by Bryce, who was kicking the strip out of the bar. Burns was facing James Hurst, who was drowning under the Saints, and as he prepared to throw, Bryce was also hit. The ball landed in the left-handed squirrel, where the defensive end Marcus Haynes scored his first vague recovery of the season.

Takeaway led to the point, as the Panthers descended on the field and scored on Moore’s 7-yard touchdown.

While the Panthers got what they wanted after the Burns removal, the defense couldn’t keep the Saints out of the end zone before halftime.

Despite New Orleans having just 1:37 and a deadline, Bryce fielded his team. With just five seconds left on the second and goal from five and with the timeout, Bryce got Harris for a touchdown just inside the goal line.

The Saints also didn’t face a third in possession, running eight yards and 75 yards at 1:35. Which gave the New Orleans a 21-17 lead at halftime.
