The nurse claims that the doctor infected her with COVID-19 on purpose

A Florida nurse has claimed that a doctor deliberately infected her with COVID-19 after she complained about a lack of personal protective equipment at Flor Fees.

News station WSVA reports that Venice Jean-Baptiste claimed that her boss, Dr. Joseph Pipreto, denied her PPE and showed up to work with symptoms of the virus after she went to a dance festival in Miami Beach in March. WSVN states.

Jean-Baptiste told the outlet, “He was coughing more, and you could tell he was sick.”

She said they beat her before she fell ill to get ill fees at the Project Access Access Foundation to follow the COVID-19 guidelines.

Jean-Baptiste said, “We don’t have N95 masks. The masks we had didn’t allow us to wear them for every patient.”

Jean-Baptiste said they were both walking down the hall when she instructed a visually impaired doctor to test for the virus.

But that’s when he said his boss stopped, turned and slept in his direction.

“He just went ‘ahh’, and he said, ‘Well, if I have, now you have too. Now, leave me alone,'” Jean-Baptiste said.

She said that a few days later she and her 2-year-old son, Abel, began to experience symptoms, and she had to spend more than a week in the hospital fighting the virus.

“I called my family and said, ‘All I want is for you to do this to my son… just, if I don’t make it, because I don’t think I’ll make it,'” Jean-Baptiste told the news station WPLG.

Jean-Baptiste has since recovered but is seeking damages for her health, her medical bills and her recovery.

The Project Access Access Foundation has denied the allegations, saying it is following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which includes symptoms testing and PPE.

“The allegations made in the complaint are stated and will be defended aggressively,” the nonprofit said.
