Square Enix has revealed what the gameplay of Nier’s mobile title is, Nier reincarnation, you see and you see Okay.
Nier reincarnation It will have a gacha-based system, which will likely unlock multiple characters, but this has yet to be confirmed. Like other Japanese mobile games, Nier reincarnation It appears to have turn-based RPG combat, complete with an acceleration button and auto-play.
The main character is new to the Nier franchise, and has a little ghost named Mama who follows her. The game also has multiple stylistic designs, ranging from flat, monochromatic characters that roam 2D landscapes to more realistic combat and movement, rendered in 3D.
Closed beta keys for the Japanese version of the game are given away through Square Enix accounts, but the game’s launch has not been announced in other regions. Like the other entries in the Nier series and Yoko Taro’s other mobile game, Sinoalice, will probably be released worldwide later. The closed beta begins on July 29.
