Well, League of Legends fans, it’s true. The next champion heading to Riot Games’ flagship MOBA game is none other than Yone, Yasuo’s allegedly deceased half brother. LoL Yone was leaked and teased online for a while, most recently in an animated short that failed to name him as the next Champion heading the multiplayer game roster. Now it’s official: Riot has announced the new Champion, and we have all the information about Yone’s skills, tradition and more. Keep reading.
While Yasuo has been a playable Champion since 2013, until now, Yone has been confined to the League of Legends tradition. He is the conscientious older half brother of the current Champ, who was killed by his younger brother after a misunderstanding about the murder of his teacher, Elder Souma. Yone believed it was his brother’s fault, they fought and he was annihilated, or so it seems.
In the recent anime-style teaser, ‘The Path, An Ionian Myth’, we saw what appeared to be Yone woke up in a mystical, spiritual and sword fight with an armed warrior, who we now know was an Azakana, one of the ” Weaker cousins of demons like Evelynn and Tahm Kench, “as explained in the Yone’s Champion Insights post.
“The azakana who attacked Yone had been hunting him for some time,” Riot explains, “feeding on the negative emotions he harbored while tracking Yasuo. But Yone died before he had a chance to attack, and when he reached the kingdom of the spirits saw an opportunity and struck, intending to devour Yone’s soul, Yone managed to defeat him, or so he thought, but the consequences were dire.
“The next thing Yone knew was that he woke up in the mortal realm with a mask placed on his face, an azakana-shaped mask he had just defeated, with the demon locked up inside.” Drink.
However, Yone is not fully possessed: he does have some of his power, for sure, and can “literally rip his soul out of his body, leaving behind his mortal form to traverse the spirit realm for a brief period of time,” which is linked with his abilities Speaking of which, let’s take a look at those, shall we?
League of Legends Yone Skills
Like Aphelios, League of Legends’ Yone abilities come together in a very different playstyle that relies on dual weapons – in this case, two swords, one of which he drew from the azakana. “Yone was originally designed to be a skirmish,” says Riot, “that his double swords lent themselves well. His human sword does physical damage and his Azakan sword does magical damage, giving Yone a mixed damage profile, which that allows him to come face to face with even the beefiest bois. “
However, “the way he plays with his E and ultimate is really similar to that of an assassin,” says champion designer Jonathan ‘EndlessPillows’ Fuller. “It dives into the bottom line and causes tons of damage to the softs. Play as a skirmish-assassin hybrid. “
Hunter’s Path (Passive):
Yone uses two blades, causing each second attack to deal more magic damage. Her critical strike chance is also doubled, but her critical strikes deal reduced damage. “
Deadly Steel (Q):
“One advances and inflicts physical damage on opponents. In the hit, gain a stack of Gathering Storm. With two stacks, Yone can move forward with a wave that blows up enemies. “
Cleft Spirit (W):
“Yone advances in a massive arc, which distributes a portion of the target’s maximum health. After successfully hitting an enemy, Yone also gains a temporary shield. Shield power increases per champion hit.
Summoners while playing Yasuo, he studied the blades! ⚔

Unbound soul (E):
“Anyone can enter his spirit form, gaining movement speed and leaving his body behind. When Yone’s spirit form expires, it will return to her body and cause a percentage of all damage she dealt while in spirit form. “
Sealed Destination (R):
“Yone hits all the enemies on his way, he blinks behind the last hit enemy and knocks everyone in the air towards him.”
