The never-before-seen Simpsons video game is conceived for the Sega Dreamcast

As lower Wired Magazine Intern, my first assignment was reviewing 2007 The Simpsons Game: Sadly, an introspective parody of the entire gaming industry, sadly, suffers from as many trolls as wrapped up. But it turns out that Fox was already interested in the game of three-dimensional Simpsons – one that would have appeared on the Sega Dreamcast if things had been done.

Today, the Dreamcast Channel On YouTube (via Kotku) Has been performing an incredible tech demo since 2000 titled “The Simpsons: Bug Squad”. It’s from the long-running Red Lemon Studio, and it’s remarkable how beautiful the game’s cell-shaded graphics look on this show. Apparently, a user of the Dreamcast-talk forum named sreak found this demo just sitting on the hard drive of a broken Dreamcast Dev Kit, and with a little help, the stage figured out how to play it.

The whole is less understandable Bug Squad Thing. Are you really going to make a mistake? Why Who will be compromised in your team?

Hopefully, some native developers (or Fox executives) will come forward so we can find out.
